To help and support young people from schools in our local community, working with the CHEXS Team at Lea Valley Park Authority and other community areas managing the Habitation, Clearing scrubs and creating Dead hedge constructions.
This enrichment provides our young people an opportunity to work out doors to gain experience working in a team and participating in a community project to improve the area for the local people to use.
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with young people and is able to guide them in these outdoor activities.
Who is willing to participate in physical work out-doors (all weathers)
Has good communication skills
Enthusiastic and dedicated
We will provide you with:
Training and support
Experience working with in a team
Cover your Travel expenses
Must have:
You will be required to complete a criminal record check (DBS)

You could also learn new skills, improve your CV, build your confidence and meet new people. Not to mention having great fun! We have many opportunities to get involved in volunteering, such as helping run a club or activity within a school or other setting, help support family/adult learning, mentoring a young person who needs a helping hand, helping coordinate our local community days and fundraising collections or driving children and young people to activities to help support their opportunities and develop their knowledge.
